I've eaten at Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse and loved watching the chef prepare our delicious meals on the cooktop right in front of us! The portions are generous and, as you say, the flavors were amazing. I've eaten at these types of restaurants several times and am always pleased with the quality of the food.

It was our first time at a a Mongolian restaurant. We’ve done the hibachi type restaurant before but never have we filled a huge bowl of whatever we wanted.

Yes ..I have been to several of this type of restaurant …there was a chain called Mongolian Grill near us in Waterloo and Cambridge but both went out of business I think when Covid hit !! My girls loved this restaurant …it was fun to go to and select each component of your meal …I had forgotten about them ..was a very healthy way to eat …and different …I don’t think there is anything like that around here now , unfortunately …

We really enjoyed our meal. It was definitely fun. Too bad there’s nothing in the area.

Hey, you! Sharonville Ohio is only one hour away from me (Springfield)! Wish I had known, perhaps things would work out to connect. But I am glad the restaurant did not disappoint. 😉

Wow. I had no idea. If you’re so inclined to take the drive it was a very interesting place. Not fancy at all, no elevated service like you’d get in a finer dining restaurant, the wine was barely drinkable but the meal was excellent. Just don’t order the fried rice with the meal. It was not great … stick with the steamed rice. It was a Monday night and there were maybe a half dozen diners. If we travel back through the US we’ll definitely eat there again.

Great to know. We used to work a body/mind/spirit expo in Sharonville and took private sessions out of our hotel for years. But those days are long gone. Energy levels are slowly fading I am afraid. We used to go to a special Chinese place called House of Sun. If you ever get this way again, we should meet up for dinner!

Was it at the Convention Centre?

Yes. At the time we were venders, it was called the Victory of Light Festival. About the time they sold to Body/Mind/Spirit Expo is when we retired. We traveled the USA and Toronto participating in expos for many years.

We stayed at the hotel there ... the Hyatt. The restaurant is just up the street from there.

And I’m not far from Toronto. What a small world.
