A sure sign of Spring to me is when those bulbs just start popping through the soil. You know what I mean … that little stub of green among the drab brown colours left over from winter.
Once I see that little spurt of colour I know it won’t be long before the weather will consistently be nice. That cold chill from winter will be gone for another year. It’ll be replaced with the warmer breeze of spring and the welcome brightness of the sun.
Soon more bulbs will be popping up, trees will be budding and the grass will start greening up. The birds will be chirping, the squirrels will be running about and people will be smiling more.
Spring can be a new beginning for those that need it, if they’re brave enough to take that step. For those that don’t it can be a reaffirmation that they’re on the right path to wherever they’re going.
Spring to me, is that question “do I stay the course from the new year or do I forge a new path?” What does it mean for you? It’s something to ponder.
Until the next time.
I will be forging a new path but not till summer!
