I’m a two pillow person when I sleep. Some people prefer one. Some none. It’s all a matter of choice.
My pillows were old so for the past couple years I’ve been buying pillows to try. Right now there are 3 pillows that have been designated spare room pillows because they aren’t for me.
When I first went shopping for new pillows I was confronted by a wall of so many different kinds … soft pillows, hard pillows, medium pillows, large pillows, smaller pillows, natural fibre pillows, bamboo pillows … you name it, it was there. How does one choose? How does one test them out? It’s really quite intimidating.
Because I’m an organized person I came up with somewhat of a plan. I bought one pillow at a time and tested it for a few nights with each of my existing pillows before I decided if it would work. After I decided if the 2 new pillows would work I tested them with each other. Nope. They didn’t work together. So I decided which of the 2 new were best and the one that wasn’t I put into the spare bedroom. Bought a 3rd pillow. Similar process with the old pillows, then the new. The 2 new pillows didn’t work again. So I decided which of the 2 new I preferred and another new pillow for the spare bedroom. And repeated the process with a 4th pillow.
As of now I’m at a stalemate of sorts. I’m using one new pillow and one old pillow. It’s weird but it seems to work for me until I have the energy and ambition to start the process again. I mean, how many pillows does the spare bedroom need. Lol.
Suggestions on how to solve my pillow dilemma are always welcome.
Until the next time.
Ha! I bought the most expensive ones I could find online. Spent a fortune to solve the problem. That didn't work out!
I'd say try to adjust with the two new pillows for a few weeks. I always find that I always adjust to a new pillow within the first few days.
