While on my walks I often look at the house doors and wonder about the people behind them. I think the paint colour of their door tells us a little something about them. Particularly the person who chose the colour. Don’t you?
The colour yellow represents happiness, hope and deceit. It is a warm primary colour that is the colour of fire, sunrises and sunsets.
Red is another warm primary colour that is associated with fire, violence and warfare but it’s also associated with passion and love.
Black is considered a neutral colour and commonly associated with power, elegance and formality. Negatively it is associated with evil, mystery and death.
Blue is often described as peaceful, secure, tranquil and orderly. The colour blue brings feelings of calmness and serenity to mind.
White represents purity, virtue, and cleanliness. As most people know it’s also the primary colour of healthcare people who tend to us when in need.
Green, a secondary colour, is down to earth and can represent new beginnings, growth, renewal and abundance. But it can also represent jealousy, envy and lack of experience.
Orange, another primary colour is vibrant and energetic. It’s associated with the changing of the seasons as well as health and vitality. It’s considered a less in your face colour compared to red. It’s friendlier and more inviting.
And this I included because the colour intrigues me and yup I like it. And what does that say about me and anyone who likes Aqua. From what I’ve read aqua represents one’s inner peace and gentle personality. It can mean balance and stability. Hmmmm.
I think it’d be interesting to meet the people that chose those colours to see if it does indeed match their personality. Don’t you?
Until the next time.
